This small wall textile is lightweight and flexible. It may be hung using small finishing nails, map pins, or T-pins placed discreetly through or just above the braided hair edge. The braided perimeter can support its own weight. The work may be installed following its natural curve rather than forced flat, allowing the form to drape slightly against the wall.
The piece may also be framed using a shallow shadow box or float frame to preserve its dimensionality. If framed, the textile should not be compressed against glass; spacers are recommended to maintain airflow and the integrity of the braided hair.
